• Drinking Water Quality Test Results

We are pleased to share the results of its latest drinking water quality assessment, conducted by TEST IT LAB, an accredited testing laboratory. The laboratory analysis, based on water samples collected in Boshof on 29 June 2026, confirmed that all tested parameters complied with the applicable SANS 241 drinking water quality limits.

The Municipality remains committed to safeguarding public health through continuous water quality monitoring, transparency, and the provision of safe and reliable drinking water to our communities.

  Residents are advised to take caution as the South African Weather Service has issued warnings for cold, wet and windy conditions from 03–04 June 2026. Heavy rainfall may lead to localised flooding of roads, bridges, low-lying areas and river crossings.

  Community members are urged to avoid unnecessary travel, never cross flooded roads or rivers, secure loose outdoor items, and keep warm. Please monitor official SAWS updates and follow instructions from disaster management authorities.
